University Open Air: Reading the Flight of Birds

Before memory, before words, the birds were our first teachers, their wings tracing lessons across the sky. This class invites you to interpret the poetry of bird flight—the arc of a hawk, the murmur of starlings, the sudden hush before a robin's call. Through mindful observation, you'll learn to perceive the subtle narratives woven into their movements and songs, deepening your kinship with the natural world and discovering the insights carried on the very breath of the wind.

Enrique Enriquez was born in Caracas and has lived in New York for the past 25 years, where he talks to birds and explores the magic of language and the poetics of divination.
