University Open Air: The Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in daily human activities has increased exponentially in the last 5 years. Beginning 2023, we see the enhancement of AI solutions including generating textual contents, videos, PPTs, music, and editing pictures. This lesson introduces the latest AI solutions such as ChatGPT, and discusses the benefits of AI in your daily activities and how to use it safely, without exposing any sensitive data. All attending this session will receive important AI tips and practically examine if a content was created by human or AI.
Eugene Opoku-Mensah is an Assistant Professor at Middlesex’s College Department of Computer Science. He has taught diverse of students in Ghana Mathematics and Technology then continued teaching in China, where he worked for 6 years before moving to the United States. Dr. Opoku-Mensah uses an interactive approach with practical illustrations that attracts students’ interest to grasp the concepts being taught. His interests are Information Security, Data Science and culture.
