University Open Air: AI × Nature: Discover Your Inner Plant
Step into a world of green imagination in this playful, AI-generated workshop, where participants explore identity through the lens of botany. What qualities, shapes, or environments would you embody if you were a plant? Through guided writing and optional sketching, you’ll observe and describe your inner plant, then use accessible AI image-generation tools—from phone-based prompts to ChatGPT-assisted visuals—to transform your botanical self-portrait into digital artwork. This lively session combines light reflection, creative writing, and hands-on AI experimentation, offering joyful expression and reflective discovery for all ages.
Song Lu (b. Guizhou, China) is a Brooklyn-based multimedia artist exploring AI imagery and the intersections of data, memory, and technology. Her work examines how technology reshapes reality and reveals structural blind spots, while her long-term projects extend toward human–nature–cosmos entanglements. She has exhibited internationally at UNTITLED Art Fair Miami, PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai, Breeze Art Fair Seoul, and AI Film Fest Amsterdam, and was selected for the MIT AI Filmmaking Hackathon and featured in Art in America’s New Talent Issue“20 Artists to Watch.”
