Ukrainian Embroidery: Basic Decorated Pins
Join artist Rhonda Weppler, to learn about the history and origins of traditional Ukrainian embroidery. While focusing on geometric floral motifs, hands on, cross stitch embroidery techniques will be used to make a small pin to take home.
All finished projects will be photographed at the end of the workshop, and become part of a digital photographic wreath. This image will combine artworks from across Weppler’s workshop series that reflects on Ukrainian traditional folk art techniques.
