Washington Irving, Auditorium

Hispanic Heritage Month kids kids explore

Two Puppets, Two Cultures! is a joyful bilingual performance that brings together two colorful friends: Sumaq, a curious puppet from the Andes (whose name means “beautiful” in Quechua), and Buddy, a playful puppet from the United States. Alongside their human friends Araceli and Matt, Sumaq and Buddy set out on a fun adventure to learn each other’s words, share their favorite songs, and discover how helping one another makes everything easier. Through simple stories, music, and interactive games, children will celebrate the beauty of friendship, bilingual learning, and cultural diversity.
