Join us with community sustainability partner Clean Bushwick Initiative for a Textile Repair Fair.

Repair Coaches will be on hand to help skillshare textile repair on 1-2 items per patron.

They will teach you how to repair : Busted Seams – Small Holes – Missing Buttons – Hems – Visible Mending

Will also have a do it yourself Mending Circle to offer a space for you to take time and join neighbors to work on your own mending. Supplies will be on hand but feel free to bring your own. No repair instruction for the Mending Circle, but good vibes and community.

Do you have have textiles you want to recycle as well as e-waste? Drop off your items same day for our simultaneous E-Waste and Textile Collection Event:

Sat. Nov. 1st, 10am-2pm

E-waste collected at these events include: household and office electronics (computers, laptops, keyboards, printers), smaller entertainment electronics (video game consoles, cell phones, MP3 players), and TVs, VCRs, DVDs, DVRs.

*Unacceptable items: commercial e-waste, household appliances, air conditioners, batteries, lightbulbs.

Textiles collected at these events include: clothing, shoes, accessories, linens, and all fabric items that are clean, dry, and unsoiled. Textile dropoffs must be in bags!

Let's repair the things we own and responsibly recycle the things we can no longer use, together.
