Teens Drop a Beat: Blackout Poetry as Hip Hop
Sound, flow, and rhythm all play a part of hip hop and poetry--why not create your own! Come listen to Hip Hop and get inspired to create your own Blackout Poem. This will be a chill space for tweens and teens to check out poetry from Tupac, Erykah Badu, and Yasiin Bey (fka Mos def), listen to good music, and collaborate with friends!
This counts toward the Summer @ BPL theme "Drop a Beat."
