Teen Sewing Workshop: Reusable Pads for Period Poverty Awareness
Join us in the Teen Gaming Room from 4 to 5 pm for a hands-on sewing workshop!
In honor of Period Poverty Awareness Week, we’ll be hand-sewing reusable cotton pads while learning about the global issue of period poverty and how we can help end the stigma.
This event is a collaboration between the Cycle Alliance program and the Teen Climate Justice initiative highlighting the connection between sustainability, health equity, and social justice.
Snacks and water will be included, along with good music!
