Calling all Sailor Scouts and Jujutsu Sorcerers! Join us at the Crown Heights Library for anime art workshops, every Wednesday in May at 4:00 PM. Try your hand at drawing manga or make your very own anime wand to up your cosplay game. Each of these workshops will be taught by experienced artists. Beginners are welcome!

  • May 7: Manga Drawing (pt. 1) with Aatmaja Pandya: Learn how to draw original characters.
  • May 14: Manga Drawing (pt. 2): Make your own one-page manga strip.
  • May 21: Cosplay Anime Wands (pt. 1) with Max Salzman: Build a Sailor Moon stick or any wand/staff of your choosing with EVA foam.
  • May 28: Cosplay Anime Wands (pt. 1): Paint your finished wands & make them come to life!

Please note, it is not required to attend every workshop. Each session can be attended without attending the previous one. All materials will be provided. Space is limited--first come, first served.
