arts and crafts
Heritage Ambassadors
jewelry making
Join Artist Rhonda Weppler to learn the basics of wire beadwork using glass beads and brass wire to make small brooches. Together, we will be looking at different flowers that have symbolic meaning in Ukrainian Culture for inspiration.
All finished projects will be photographed at the end of the workshop and become part of a digital photographic wreath. This image will combine artworks from across Weppler’s workshop series that reflects on Ukrainian traditional folk-art techniques.
Rhonda Weppler is a Ukrainian-Canadian who was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and has lived in New York for the past eight years.
