Summer of Wellness at Brower Park
Join us for the second workshop in our 3-part series. This workshop will discuss the difference between stress and burnout, symptoms to be aware of, coping skills, how to recognize early warning signs, stress reduction techniques, setting boundaries, community building and more.

About Chaya
Chaya Halberstam, LMSW, MPP is a licensed psychotherapist, educator, and public policy
advocate dedicated to making mental health support more accessible and inclusive. Born and
raised in Crown Heights, Chaya is deeply committed to giving back to her community and
creating spaces for healing, dialogue, and connection. She holds dual master’s degrees in
Social Work and Public Policy from the University of Chicago and currently provides therapy and
facilitates teen-based wellness workshops at Interborough Developmental and Consultation
Center in Brooklyn. Chaya also teaches research and statistics at the College of Mount Saint
Vincent.
