STREETWISE: Pedestrian Safety for Older Adults
STREETWISE is a 30-minute virtual traffic safety presentation created by the NYC Department of Transportation Office of Safety Education and Outreach to help older New Yorkers protect themselves in the city’s traffic environment. Especially important because New Yorkers over 65 account for up to 50% of the city’s pedestrian fatalities!
Presenter: Eric Miu, Community Coordinator/Safety Educator, DOT
