STREETWISE is a 30-minute virtual traffic safety presentation created by the NYC Department of Transportation Office of Safety Education and Outreach to help older New Yorkers protect themselves in the city’s traffic environment. Especially important because New Yorkers over 65 account for up to 50% of the city’s pedestrian fatalities!

Presenter: Eric Miu, Community Coordinator/Safety Educator, DOT

Registration is required for this program.

This is a virtual program that will require either a computer with audio or a telephone, in order to participate. The Zoom login information will be emailed.

This program is supported by the National Network of Libraries of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health.
