Strawbitty Yops
Strawbitty Yops is a family music project from Austin, Texas. Their high energy, interactive music invites the audience into the collective music making experience. With songs focusing on love, acceptance and social justice issues they create affirming music that invites conversations. Their mission is community building through music. The whole family will enjoy the message and the magic of making music with the Strawbitty Yops.
Their second album, "What Does Love Look Like?" was recognized as one of the top eleven albums of the year for families, by the School Library Journal. They also have multiple songs as finalists in the Resilient Child Media Awards. In addition to creating music, all members are visual artists and integrate art activities into their "Pride Family Rainbow Party" shows every summer.
Following the Musical performance please join the Strawbitty Yops for a puppet making activity where you can create your own puppet character.
