Join the Brooklyn Public Library for a rollicking good time listening to stories, singing songs, and enjoying the breeze from the water!

Librarians from the Brooklyn Heights and Annex branches will be reading stories they love to share! To find out more about Summer Reading 2021, click here. The only thing more fun than a good storytime is one with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Recommended for ages 2-7.

This event takes place in-person every other Wednesday from May 19-July 28 and will switch off between the Pier 3 Greenway Terrace and John Street Lawn locations of the Park.

Advance registration is required. A limited number of spaces are available – registration will open on Tuesday, July 20 at 10:00am for Storytime on July 28 at the John Street Lawn. We will also do our utmost to accommodate as many walk-ups as space allows. Register via the Brooklyn Bridge Park website.

While the CDC has eased outdoor mask guidance, masks for medium sized gatherings are still recommended. With that, all participants in organized Park programs, even those who are fully vaccinated, will be required to wear a face covering. We will continue to monitor and respond to CDC guidelines over the coming weeks. Access full safety information here.
