Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and more! For children aged 18 months – to 5 years (with a caregiver). Please come early so you have time to settle in and to minimize disruptions. We will start promptly at 11:00 AM. Stay after the stories for a short playtime.
This week's special theme is Banned Books. Banned Books Week (October 1-7, 2023) is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. It spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. It brings together the entire book community — librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular.
Small groups of 5 or more, camps, schools, and daycares must contact the library in advance to schedule a storytime visit.
