Join Spellbound Theatre for a FREE pop-up show called Stand Clear of the Closing Doors, Please and art activity around our theme, “A Subway Adventure!” 

 

Where? Ulmer Park Library

When? Wednesday, May 31 @ 3:30pm-4:45pm

Who? Children ages 2-7 years old and their families

 

Stand Clear of the Closing Doors, Please is a one-of-a-kind storytelling performance that follows a lost toy, Catbear, as they travel through the tunnels of New York City on six different subway lines, looking for their owner. Each train has its own story, and Catbear experiences all the sights and sounds of New York City before landing home again. 

 

Free Family Art Days are opportunities for families to play, imagine, and explore through a variety of art forms. These events are free for the public thanks to the generous donations of Spellbound supporters and institutional grants. 

 

Spellbound Theatre is New York's award-winning theater for very young children.

​We bring original theater, storytelling and puppetry performances and workshops to schools, libraries, and performance venues in New York and across the country.

Acompáñanos a un espectáculo “pop-up” llamado “No se recargue en las puertas, por favor”, y a una actividad artística GRATUITA alrededor de nuestra temática “¡Una aventura en el metro!”.

¿Quiénes? Niños y niñas de dos a siete años de edad y sus familias

 

No se recargue en las puertas, por favor es un espectáculo de narración oral único en su género que sigue a un juguete perdido, “Catbear”, mientras viaja a través de los túneles de Nueva York en seis líneas del metro diferentes en busca de su dueño. Cada tren tiene su propia historia y Catbear experimenta todas las vistas y todos los sonidos de Nueva York antes de llegar a casa de nuevo.
