Itching to write a song but don't know where to start? Have lyrics written but no music to pair with it? In this workshop, students will be able to craft a fully produced song from scratch! Students will be introduced to Soundtrap, a free online digital audio workstation empowering each participant to craft a musical landscape and record vocal melodies. Students will be given tools to create meaningful lyrics, and compose common pop music song structures, enabling them to complete their own song by the end of the lesson. This program is great for kids age 11-15.
