Sit & Sketch: A Mindful Drawing Workshop at Hancock Community Backyard Park
Join a librarian from Macon Library at Hancock Community Backyard Park for a morning drawing and art workshop, taking in inspiration from the garden’s greenery and urban surroundings!
We’ll meet at the park and spend an hour creating with community. All levels of artists are welcome!
- There will be no formal instruction but we will have some prompts to help get you inspired.
- Drawing materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own mediums as well.
- This workshop is for ages 13 & up.
- We will meet at Hancock Community Backyard Park, located at 324 Hancock St.
- Please bring water & prepare to be outdoors in hot weather. Sunscreen and bug spray is recommended. If you are not feeling well for any reason, please stay home & consider joining the next class!
- RSVP is highly encouraged for any updates regarding the weather.
