Chair-based exercises are a form of physical activity that can be done while sitting on a chair or using a chair for support. They are suitable for people of different ages and abilities, especially those with limited mobility and may have difficulty standing, walking or balancing. Chair exercise may help improve your health, fitness and overall wellbeing without putting too much stress on your joints and muscles.
Due to limited space, groups of 5 persons or more must contact the library in advance to make sure the program can accommodate the group. It may be possible to schedule an individual group visit with advanced notice.
