Artists on Site BPL Presents

Saturdays at 11 am, starting on April 27th through June 22nd.

Create and learn to play a gourd shekere in this intergenerational 8-week workshop series with master shekere artist, Cheryl Thomas. Children and adults alike will experience the hands-on traditional technique of beading, connecting an ancient craft skill with contemporary rhythms. For ages 10 and up.

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
