Join us in our Craft Room to practice reading with our guest pup, Mia!
Kids can make enormous strides in building self-esteem and confidence while acquiring a love of books by reading to a dog. The goal of the program is for kids to read in a specific environment. Grown ups, if you're comfortable, we ask that the kids attend the session on their own, thank you!
Sign up at the Children's Reference desk for a 15 minute slot on the day of the program. First come, first serve. Space is limited to 3 children per time slot.
For children ages 5-12 who are practicing their reading skills.
This program is a partnership with The Good Dog Foundation.
