This is the first in our two-part series on Strategies to Safeguard your Finances

Despite the nationwide disruptions being caused by the coronavirus, the CFPB is continuing its daily work to help consumers. One way CFPB helps is by providing consumers with up-to-date information and resources to protect and manage their finances during this difficult time. The CFPB has created a curated webpage housing these resources: consumerfinance.gov/coronavirus.

During this webinar, Carmen Cruz, CFPB Financial Education Program Analyst, will provide you with an overview of these resources, what types of information you will find on the site, and how you may access these resources.

How to Identify and Avoid Common Financial Scams, the second program in this series, will take place on Sept. 29.

Please note that you may register for this event up until one hour before it starts. You will receive the WebEx link via email before the event.

BPL’s Business & Career Center is generously supported by Dime Community Bank, Lead Funder of the PowerUP! Business Plan Competition, Dr. Beverly S. Jacobs, Ridgewood Savings Bank, Con Edison, ReferenceUSA, Elizabeth Crowell & Robert Wilson and Signature Bank.
