Today's technology gives young people powerful tools to create and share content, but this can lead to tricky situations. This workshop explores striking the balance between creating content that will be popular but could also be hurtful.

For ages 13-18. Registration is recommended. Snacks will be served. 

Introducing the Teen News & Media Literacy Pilot Program funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Brooklyn Public Library will be one of seven libraries testing this program across the country! What happens? Workshops developed by Common Sense Media that bring media literacy to teenagers.
