Pollinator Day: Nature Journaling with Monarch Butterflies

In this hands-on workshop, participants of all ages will be able to learn about the symbiotic relationship between the endangered Monarch butterfly and its host plant, milkweed. Tables will be set up with Monarch butterfly specimens, milkweed plants, and reference texts for participants to explore. Each participant will get their own Naturalist Notebook, in which they can record their observations, drawings, and questions in.

 

This program is open to all ages and will take place inside the Community Room.
