Poetry Workshop for Children, ages 8-11

You are invited to a Children's Poetry Workshop for ages 8-11.   We will learn to write "letter poems."   I will present examples of "letter poems."   "Letter poems' can be fun.  

You will explore letter poems.  It is written to a person or thing.  It could be a poem written to your pet who greets you when you come home or to your grandmother to elevated D train down your block.  We will spend some time writing our own letter poem or you can bring a letter poem.   This program will be over zoom.  Families are welcome to join with their children.  Registration is required to receive the zoom link.  

Materials needed:   Writing paper, pen or pencil, and an envelope.
