STUY OR DIE is an 80-minute theatrical production that follows three Asian-American middle schoolers as they prepare for one of the biggest experiences of their young lives: the Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT). Set in 2014 and inspired by real stories from over 30 students, teachers, and parents, the play dives into themes of family pressure, identity, survival, and dreams — all through a mix of memory, imagination, and emotional truth.
