Philosophy Discussion Group: Plato's Socrates, Plato's "Apology"

We will begin our study of Plato’s Socrates, discussing the way he is portrayed in the early dialogues of Plato, especially the “Apology.”

Copies of both readings are available at the 2nd Floor SST Reference Desk at the Central Library. 

 

 

All interested parties are welcome. No previous philosophical background is required.  All participants are expected to observe a code of conduct during the discussion, the rules of which are made available at every meeting.
