Join Inclusive Services in celebrating Padma Venkatraman’s Safe Harbor! The oceanographer and award-winning author will discuss her newest book.  Written in verse, her timely middle grade novel tackles forging a new home on the other side of the world, standing up for voiceless victims of climate change,  and finding a safe harbor in a sea of challenging emotions -- all while figuring out growing up.

"A must-read for those who appreciate lyrical storytelling with emotional depth" -- School Library Journal, Starred Review.

The discussion will be followed by a book distribution and signing.

Light refreshments will be provided.

For more information or to RSVP, call 917.751.4890 or e-mail inclusiveservicesevents@bklynlibrary.org.
