Open Call for Artists: Botanical Art Exploring Nature's Wonders

We invite all visual artists to participate in our open art call for submissions, centered around botanical art. Whether you are an emerging artist or an established professional, this is an opportunity to showcase your talent and creativity while exploring the beauty and depth of the botanical world.

Please Note:  This is not a vendors fair, and no currency will be exchanged however you are welcome to include your artist handle/business card or contact information along with your work.

Theme: Botanical Art: Exploring Nature's Wonders

Submission Guidelines:

• Deadline Friday, June 16 2023, 5:00pm
• Artists may submit up to two images of artworks for consideration via e-mail to ERivera@bklynlibrary.org
• Size of artwork must fit within the dimensions of display case shelves (see below).
• Include your name and contact information.
• No nudity or profanity.
• All artwork must be original and centered around the theme of botanical art.
• Art forms may include painting, ceramics, drawing, printmaking, mixed media and digital art.
• Artists are encouraged to provide a short artists statement (max 200 words).

Display Case Info:

Shelves are 58" long, with top two shelves at 14 3/4 deep and bottom shelf 16 3/4 deep.  All shelves have 15" height. Unfortunately, not adjustable. There is a support bar in the middle of each shelf.
