NYS Food Handler Certification
Are you interested in earning your NYC Food Handling Certification? Join us for our upcoming orientation/registration to learn more about the program. Classes will begin in January 2020.
NYC food handler certification is necessary for all food handlers in the retail food service and hospitality industries who are involved in the preparation, storage, or handling of food. This certificate is awarded after successful completion of four trainings and passing the NYCDOH exam.
Class Schedule/Location: (25 hour program)
Mon.-Fri. 10 AM – 3 PM (1 week)
At Pacific Library, 25 4th Ave., BK, NY
Basic Eligibility:
Must be employed or seeking employment in the food industry.
18 years of age or older
Ability to meet TABE reading placement test requirements
Must attend all 5 class sessions
All materials and exam fee are FREE.
