The NYC Housing Van will be visiting New Lots Library on Wednesday, August 10th. The Home Support Unit which is part of the Mayor's Office Public Engagement Unit will also be there to answer questions.
Stop by anytime from 11 am and 1 pm for support with your housing questions.
HPD staff will be available to help you:
- Learn about affordable housing lotteries.
- Learn about your rights and responsibilities as a tenant or owner.
- Get help filing a complaint about housing code violations or landlord harassment.
- Learn about and apply for financial assistance for property owners.
- Get help registering your building as a property owner.
- Learn how to remedy housing code violations.
