Nourish, Heal & Restore: Kitchen Medicine - Harness Nature’s Remedies for Self-Care
The art of cooking mindfully will be explored by highlighting common herbs, spices, fruits, and vegetables that can treat minor ailments and promote well-being. There will be herbal tea giveaways at the end of the class.

Learning Objectives
- Promote Self-Reliance Teach participants how to harness the healing properties of everyday kitchen ingredients to address minor health issues on their own.
- Encourage Natural Wellness Educate participants about the benefits of using natural remedies for common ailments, while highlighting the potential advantages of a holistic, balanced approach to health.
- Enhance Nutritional Awareness Help participants make informed dietary choices that contribute to a balanced physical and emotional sense of well-being.

Carolyn Jones, founder of The Healing Project, is a holistic health practitioner and educator who loves to share the message of natural self-care. She serves the community as a family herbalist with certifications in aromatherapy, flower essence therapy, reflexology; and, acupuncture detoxification therapy (NADA).
