Choosing a legal structure is one of the most impactful decisions a small business owner can make.
Volunteer attorneys from the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project (NELP) will explain the different forms of business structure, (e.g., Sole Proprietorship, LLC, incorporation, etc.) and dive into the benefits and limitations of these entities.
The Business & Career Center is partnering with the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project (NELP) and Pace University Small Business Development Center to offer this opportunity to go over the basics of business entity formation.
Registration is required.
BPL’s Business & Career Center is generously supported by Dime Community Bank, Lead Funder of the PowerUP Business Plan Competition, Dr. Beverly S. Jacobs, Ridgewood Savings Bank, and Data Axle Reference Solutions.
