Library for Arts & Culture

arts and crafts BPL Presents humanities and art

We need new and renewed stories as a culture.

In this workshop series, curated by The Myth Lab, guest artists and leaders will share their practice of imagination and some of the new myths and visions they're creating in their work. They'll then guide participants to cross-pollinate and dream up new mythic stories together. Guest artists and thinkers will include poet, musician, and Rumi translator Haleh Liza Gafori, theater maker and ritual artist Alex Neuman, poet Annie Finch, writer Hailo Colborn, movement artist Tamara Belinda, and more.

The Myth Lab exists to bring together artists, writers, scholars, neighbors, and dreamers to envision the new, mutual mythic stories needed by our world. Workshop artists and participants will come together to share and create big, imaginative stories that nourish an ecologically and emotionally whole world.

The series is curated by Myth Lab co-founder Ingrid Norton. Come join us to dream and create together.
