Mill Basin presents Creative Aging: Perspective & Portraiture using Watercolor

In this 9 week program, participants will gain experience with perspective and portraiture in watercolor. The classes will build on each other, focusing on concepts such as composition, color, narrative, and symbolism. Participants will learn to use dry and wet watercolor techniques, pallette based paint application, and watercolor pencils.

This is an intermediate class for those age 55 or older. Some experience with drawing or watercolor is preferred. 

Classes will be taught virtually. 

Registration will be open until February 1. If registration is full, you can call the Mill Basin branch at 718 241 3973 and request to be put on the waitlist.

2/8: 2-4 pm

2/15: 2-4 pm

2/22: 2-4 pm

3/1: 2:30-4:30 pm

3/8: 2-4 pm
