Mayor’s Public Engagement Unit (PEU) Tabling
The Mayor’s Public Engagement Unit (PEU) proactively connects New Yorkers to key City services.
There are over 70 programs and services available to serve New Yorkers. You could qualify for many of these, regardless of your immigration or employment status and even if you’re already receiving benefits. The New York City Public Engagement Unit conducts benefits screenings using the Access NYC screener to help New Yorkers learn what public benefits are available to them. In these screenings, we ask you a series of questions about yourself and your household to find programs that you may be interested in. It usually takes about 15 minutes to answer all of the questions.
Once complete, we will share information about the programs you are likely to be eligible for and provide instructions on how to learn more and apply.
