March in the Brooklyn Pride Parade with BPL!
Join library workers and patrons as we express our Pride at the Brooklyn Pride Parade on June 11 at 7 pm.
We’ll have Pride flags, stickers and a limited number of BPL t-shirts, but come in your favorite Pride gear. Feel free to bring family and friends; all are welcome to march with the Library!
After a few festivities, the march will step off at 7:30 pm. The route is 15 blocks long, ending at 5th Ave and 9th Street. We expect to be done by 9 pm at the latest, though it is OK to stay for only as long as you are able.
Update: The BPL meet up spot is 150 5th Avenue (in front of Body Tonic). Plan to arrive by 7PM; the parade kicks off at 7:30PM after a few festivities. There will be some waiting before our time to march.
