Calling all Middle Schoolers! Ever wonder how smartphones know what’s a face, and what isn’t? Or laugh when they get mixed up? In this hands-on workshop we’ll learn how computer scientists are teaching computers to “see” through Machine Learning, what it’s used for, and what you need to create your own. You will train a computer through Google’s free Teachable Machine program with expert help from the Skill Mill after school team. Participants will also get resources to create more after the program has concluded.

This program is intended for Middle Schoolers.

Advanced registration is required, registration will close one hour before the event. A link with log in information will be shared 24 hours and 1 hour before the start of the program.

Coding at Home is part of the Middle School Science series - Click the #MiddleSchoolScience tag for more!
