Join us for a series of meals and conversations about building a community newsroom in Sunset Park. We’ll come together to share stories, exchange ideas, and explore how we can create a neighborhood-driven way to stay connected.

The Library Newsroom Project is working to create a resident-powered space for sharing news, information, stories, and resources that matter to the people who live here. At each gathering, we’ll discuss what this could look like, highlight what’s happening at the library, and begin building something lasting together.

Dinner is free. Please bring one big idea for how we can share information and stories in a way that strengthens our neighborhood!

These first events will be in English, with Spanish translation available. We hope to offer Chinese translation at future dinners. If you’d like to help plan, host, or contribute to the newsroom, let us know.
