Sheepshead Bay Library and the Alzheimer's Association / NYC Chapter invite you to attend the virtual program "Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s Disease."

If you or someone you know is affected by Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, the time for legal and financial planning is now. Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s Disease is a workshop for anyone who would like to know more about what legal and financial issues to consider and how to put plans in place.

Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association and an elderlaw / estate planning attorney, this two hours presentation covers the following topics:

  • Learn about making legal plans that fit your needs
  • Legal documents needed and that they mean
  • How to find legal and financial assistance
  • Practical strategies for making a long-term plan of care
  • Tax deductions and credits
  • Government programs that can help pay for care

Please register to participate in this two hour Zoom virtual program. A Zoom link will be emailed to participants one hour before the program.
