Kings Bay In Person Adult Book Discussion: The Perfumist of Paris

 Join us in person at Kings Bay Library on Tuesday June 27 from 2 to 3 PM for an adult book discussion on Alka Joshi's "The Perfumist of Paris". 

 

It is Paris, 1974. Radha is now living in Paris with her husband Pierre and their two daughters. While she still grieves the baby boy she was forced to give up for adoption, she loves being a mother to her two daughters. As a person with a new and challenging position working for a master perfumer, her task is to design and test new fragrances for each client.

Tasked with a new project, Radha travels to India where she asks for the assistance of her sister and the courtesans of Agra. But while there, she finds out the son she never told her husband about is heading to Paris to meet her - which could upend and threaten her marriage and her carefully cultivated life.
