Before Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, there was another woman that ran for president in 1972. Her name was Shirley Chisholm, and she was African-American and born in Brooklyn! Come join us as we celebrate Shirley Chisholm's life and learn about her legacy during Black History Month. We'll end the program writing poems together about this amazing woman.
