Mr. Mike talks about some of the oldest animal fossils ever discovered, from 567 to 400 million years old, much older than any dinosaur fossils, including trilobites, "sea scorpions", the earliest known relative of vertebrates and anomalocaris, the first known apex predator.  The information comes from Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Life by Professor Anusya Chinsamy-Turan with illustrations by Angela Rizza and Daniel Long and Wikipedia.
