book adventures kids explore Women's History Month

Join us for a special reading of Brave Girl: Clara and the Shirtwaist Makers' Strike of 1909 for Women's History Month. This children's program will explore the life and legacy of Clara Lemlich, an immigrant garment worker who helped create safer work environments for young women in the early 1900s. We'll end the program writing poems together about this revolutionary woman.

A Zoom link will be sent out an hour before the program. Please sign up in advance.
