Join us Thursday, July 17 - 11:00am-1:00pm, for a special Kids Create drop-in program led by educators from the American Folk Art Museum.

Exploring Natural Pigments
Inspired by the Collection of the American Folk Art Museum; led by AFAM Educators

In the spirit of Brooklyn Public Library's summer theme, Color Everywhere, at this drop-in program, participants will use natural materials—from flowers to vegetables and more—to make their own paint! Drawing inspiration from self-taught artists like Aloise Corbaz, Melvin Edward Nelson, and Jimmy Lee Sudduth, they'll use their hand-make paint to create art to bring home.

Create, experiment and have fun!  Kids Create is an arts and crafts program for school age children 5-12 years.
