**While our in-person events are on hold, we are offering virtual programming via Facebook Live broadcasts from our branches!**   

Today, we're taking inspiration from baseball cards and other trading card games (like Pokemon)! We're going to be designing a set of trading cards that are customizable to YOU and reflect your interests and hobbies! Each card will have a unique meaning and story behind it. Need some ideas? We'll be playing a short game with some dice in order to help spark your imagination. Get your friends to design cards, and you can enjoy trading with them. These cards are completely custom, which means you can use whatever art materials you have in your home right now! (See below for more suggestions.)

(Suggested) materials for trading cards:

  • light colored construction paper
  • paint
  • paintbrushes
  • colored construction paper
  • scissors
  • markers
  • tape or glue
  • stickers, glitter, or whatever else you have!

We'll be going LIVE from the Brooklyn Public Library Family Facebook Page at 3:30. We hope to see you there!
