Celebrate Juneteenth on June 20th with Gravesend Library! Wema Ragophala of Urban Stages presents a fun free program for kids of all ages. Through participatory arts practices, we will explore the sounds of freedom and learn about the holiday of Juneteenth. Join us as we celebrate the concept of liberation through music, poetry, and more.

 

 

As Gravesend library is closed for repairs, this program will take place at our offsite location: Veltri Hall on the lower level of Our Lady of Grace Church (430 Avenue W between E 3rd and E 4th St). Look for the garden to the left of the church, go down the ramp, and enter through the blue door.
