The New Lots Library cordially invites you to join us virtually for an evening of Cuban Salsa dance, with dance instructor, Javier Ramos. Javier has been dancing salsa his entire life. He began seriously studying Cuban Salsa in 2016 and has been teaching weekly classes in NYC since 2018.
He has also played percussion professionally for over 7 years, lending an added layer of musical expertise to his teaching. As an instructor, Javier specializes in Cuban Salsa (Casino) and Rueda. He prides himself on his ability to teach complete beginners, taking things that appear complicated and making them fun, engaging, and understandable. He fundamentally believes anyone can dance salsa — and it’s too much fun not to share!!
Cuban Salsa dance is the first of three dance styles- that will be featured in our international dance series.
Audience: 18+. All skill levels are welcome! Registration is required!
