The development and prosperity of Shanghai in the middle of 19th century to the early 20th century couldn't have been possible withouth contributions of the Jewish community, who are predominantly composed of Sephardic Jews and their descendants. This second session of the series of Jewish Diaspora will take you back to that time to examine how the Jewish business men from Baghdad blazed adventurous trail into Shanghai and gradually dominated finance and economy in Shanghai.

This is a virtual program. Registration is required with your name and email. The link will be sent to the registrants by email two hours  before the program starts.
