In this online workshop, we'll use the Python programming language to gather data from the web, explore, and plot our data—all using code. Along the way, we'll learn Python fundamentals like lists, dictionaries, and loops.     

This is for beginners—no previous knowledge in coding is necessary. All you'll need is Zoom and a browser to participate. Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link prior to the event.

Jeff Katz is the founder of Jigsaw Labs.  He has taught and developed curricula in data science and web development. He has taught over 300 students to code, with students going on to work at companies such as Microsoft, LinkedIn and BlackRock. Previously, he developed child welfare software as a developer for Case Commons.
